The Artist:
My name is Christopher Dulin. I am a sculptor and painter traveling the world full-time in search of ancient pigments. I live with and learn from the tribes and people groups who have used these pigments for thousands of years in their agriculture, spiritual practices, ritual body painting, art, and textile dying.
While living with each of these remarkable tribes, I am taught how to collect and process pigments properly and with the deepest respect to their land, their ancestors, their deities and spirits, as well as themselves.
Each of the subsequent pieces I create, whether sculpture or painting, is infused with not only the earth we collect around the world, but with the rich history and deep relationship that earth has with the people who have used it for millennia.
